Facebook’s Virtual Currency Push Hints at Micro-Payments Battle

It is projected that this year there will be $1.6 billion dollars spent on virtual goods online. Google, Apple, and Facebook are on the competition to be the market leader in virtual currency. Facebook credits is still leading the way, thanks to all the Zynga games. On the other hand, Apple bans iOS developers to accept facebook credits in favor of their in-house-built app payment method.
